Bedrooms are perhaps the comfiest and coziest spaces around the house. They are that one place where you can completely relax and have peace of mind. Having a color theme may not be as important as setting the mood for the room would be. But even then, I decided to keep classic colors, a black and white color theme room. Dark rooms somehow just give that relaxing feel. However, what is more, essential for me is that my bed feels luxurious, comfortable, and soft because a cozy feel is evoked by the sense of touch; therefore, the material of the mattress and bed linen is the key element to it.
I purchased a four-piece bed set. It is a black mirrored furniture set. It consists of a bed, mirror, nightstand, and dresser, so it is worth that little extra price. It does not consist of a mattress, and I’d like to buy my mattress to my liking and comfort. I prefer a very plush mattress.
Night lamps are essential too. They help to maintain that low-lit atmosphere which is exactly what I am looking for when designing my bedroom. I placed the night lamps, one on the nightstand and one on the dresser because I brought a set of 2.
Lastly, I put two picture frames on the wall behind the bed’s headboard for that added decoration. And aesthetic décor makes the room aesthetically pleasing. They were grey colored, contrary to the black furniture; I chose them to match the mirrored effect of the furniture.
In conclusion, this is it from my bedroom décor today, simplistic and cozy, not very hard to create or maintain. I brought all my furniture from Wayfair.
