Oversized coats have always been one of my favourite winter clothing essentials. One can never go wrong with them as they keep you perfectly warm and cosy without over-shadowing your style.
So, this coat from ZARA is what I got as a PR but never got the chance to utilize it. Therefore, this winter season, while on a staycation in my hometown, I thought of styling a coat in two different ways to provide a few ideas to you guys that it is effortless to reuse a single clothing piece and recreate a variant look out of it.
First look

A basic and casual outfit for an outing trip in this extremely chilly season with biting wind. Underneath this long coat
I wore this super snuggly sweater shirt from Amazon
along with these leggings from Revolve are homely enough to keep me comfy throughout with an ankle cut-out.
The pair of shoes you guys see me wearing with this outfit the combat boots bought from DSW on sale was surely a steal deal for me.
To top it off, I accessorized it with LULUS’ fundamental black clutch which appeared to be small but sufficiently spacious to fix my phone and touch-up makeup products.
Second look

This oversized coat could only add a formal touch to my not-so-formal outfit.
And it was indeed a very thoughtful decision of mine because after dressing up in this pretty sheer cropped top from Revolve
I realized I might freeze in this weather. I paired this top with these flattering black leather pants to show up as effortlessly sassy as possible.
Furthermore, this pair of boots and mini handbag aid me in completing my look and making it even more attractive. Mainly because of these boots, I gained that boss-lady attitude that is visible in these pictures of mine.
I never knew this coat would make my silhouette this expressive!
It is a great option for anyone as lazy as me to carry several clothes while traveling. If you guys also try styling and recreating this outfit, I would love to know, how it turned out.
