It’s my special day today. It is my birthday, and I am having a birthday party. Today, I am doing a unique makeup look for all nude and browns that match my white ensemble and theme.
Birthdays are those occasions where you must ensure you do the most out of the day for yourself because it comes once a year. This day is an excellent motive to celebrate, congratulate, and reflect on your existence and the past year of all that you did and accomplished and manifesting to do better for the coming year and time.
I took my time and used some of my favorite products to create the look, and I enjoyed every bit of the makeover. So I initiate my look by building my base using a CC cream by its cosmetics. It is a buildable, full-coverage foundation that helps to give you a flawless base for a smoother application of other products.
I then like to focus on my eyes, but I don’t particularly appreciate using concealer sometimes because it makes for a very full-fledged and cakey look. And I like to avoid that, so I just pick nude to light shades from my eye palette: Dior’s eye palette is my most favorite one. I used it to build my eye makeup this way.
I finish my eye look by following with eyeliner. Using mascara, I add length and thickness to my eyelashes. I also use a brow pencil to add shape and definition to my eyebrows.
Next, I use Natasha Denona’s tan and glow palette to add some definition to my cheeks and face structure. I want to keep my makeup looking soft yet appealing, so I am not using popping color shades as they do not go with the theme’s color palette either. Lastly, I use Tom Ford’s lipstick for that pouty lip look.
All my items are from Sephora; feel free to grab yours from there, too; I’ll catch you guys later.
