You spent most of your time in the living room or your lounge spaces. Whether sitting, relaxing, watching TV, spending family time, or having conversations, they are all done in the living room. So make sure that this space of your house is very warm and welcoming; it helps to create a nice, balanced environment, setting the mode of the conversation better every time. I chose to go with a green-colored living room theme because not many people opt for it. There is uniqueness and liveliness attached to this color.
I started by placing a four-piece living room set in the middle of the living room. The ottoman that came with this set looks very cozy. Placing it in the middle of the sofa set, I wanted to add more colors, and therefore, I placed an area rug beneath the ottoman; I chose a blue/orange rug. It looks and suits the ottoman immensely.
I also placed artificial tall plants on either side of the wall behind the sofa. On the wall behind the sofa, I placed a wall mirror. I think wall mirrors look sleek at times and add a nice basic decoration for the walls.
Additionally, between the sofa and the loveseat, I placed an end table. It is a concrete grey, very contrasting to the set bright color theme. I placed small, neutral-colored ceramic vases atop it for that fancy touch. In them, I put tulips. The tulips are pink/green. The pink color added a sweet touch.
